One of the worst moments I have ever had was opening my backpack and finding my laptop screen cracked to pieces. Verdict
The Kattee Men’s Leather Satchel Briefcase looks great at first glance, and for the most part it is. The material is genuine cows leather which makes for a soft, yet rugged bag. However, and this seems to be an issue with a lot of the bags from Kattee, is the smell and the color. The smell is really strong and can be off putting in a small environment.
As well as that the color has been known to bleed off when the bag gets wet, which can easily ruin clothing!
Purchasing a laptop bag is an incredibly important decision that most people overlook. It is the only way to keep your laptop, which costs you a lot of money, safe from damage and theft. This is the reason I believe the Kattee Men’s Leather Satchel Briefcase should not be hailed as a “laptop” suitcase. It does not provide any additional protection for your laptop. No extra padding, or extra security surrounds the laptop compartment.
With so many other brands on the market that primarily build bags for safety and protection, the Kattee incredibly fails. Even drops from low heights could cause damage to your laptop as a result of the lack of padding and safety features.
It may have a fantastic look, but the strong smell and lack of safety features have really disappointed me. I recommend you look into other cases/backpacks that will really take care of your laptop during your travel time. I wish you all the best!
